Bags or Bulk

Measure once, order once

How much do you need?

Pick a material, put in your measurements, and get the answer in the units the yard actually sells — bags, cubic yards, tons, pallets. Then find out whether bagged or bulk works out cheaper at your local prices.

Built for the moment before you buy

Most quantity calculators stop at a volume. A number like 1.85 cubic yards is correct and useless when you are standing in an aisle looking at bags.

These calculators finish the job. Every result comes back as a count of the thing you can actually put in a trolley or order over the phone, with the weight so you know whether your car can take it, and a bagged-versus-bulk comparison you can run against your own local prices.

Odd shapes are the normal case

Real beds curve, patios have corners cut out, and lawns wrap around trees. Every calculator here lets you add as many areas as you need — rectangles, circles, rings and triangles — and totals them, which is far more accurate than averaging one length and width across a shape that has neither.

If you are not sure how to break your space up, the measuring guide works through a real bed.
